Starting back in 2013 I made a choice to make Christmas presents for my friends and family. This started me down the road to where I am now, writing this "about" section.

I've always enjoyed making things, may it be a classic car, a shelf or just a mess but back in November 2013 I decided I wanted to make things for other people. So I sat down with my laptop and started drawing up a iPhone speaker stand. At the time I had no workspace or tools so the CNC cutting was "subcontracted" to a local business I had found. Fast forward to 2014 and I felt I again needed to make gifts, this time deciding to make desk lamps. Come 2015 I felt i needed to up my game.

Finally buying my own desktop CNC router from Inventables, I made a number of clocks to my own design. With this investment I've decided to start this little project and see where it takes me.
